Unit 29 & 30, Solent Ind Estate - Full Refurbishment

Oakwoods successfully completed the full refurbishment of two industrial buildings for Workman LLP, located at the Solent Industrial Estate, Hedge End, Hampshire.

The works on this challenging project included the co-ordination of many professional contractors including the main elements of asbestos removal, demolitions, scaffolding, cladding and roofing works, in conjunction with structural steel works to bring the building up to date.

All being done whilst the internal CAT A fit out works were being completed to both units and resin flooring being installed to both warehouses.

Unit 29

Unit 29 warehouse had roof and gutter repairs with new Euroclad panels and insulation to the external walls, with feature Rockpanel cladding to the front 2 storey office space. The front office roof also benefitted from a new IKO warm deck roof and new rooflights.

Unit 30

Unit 30 was stripped back to the bare shell framework before structural works were completed and then over clad with Euroclad insulated panel system including new roof lights, metal fire door sets, new glazed front entrance and roller shutter refurbishments.  Externally, various works were completed including new boundary fencing, scrub and tree pruning, drainage and gully works and line marking for vehicles.
